The Wodonga Racecourse Precinct is within 1.5km of the Wodonga CBD on Hamilton Smith Drive. The racecourse is grassed and tall shady trees line the course. There is also secure fencing surrounding the entire site with two entry/exit points.
The Lake Hume Cycle Challenge has previously taken place in Albury, with the start and finish line being at Norieul Park. Due to a significant increase in traffic management fees in NSW, the event organisers have made the decision to move the event to Wodonga on the Victorian side of the mighty Murray River.
Each course has a different start time so please ensure you have the correct information:
On Friday 23rd February, from 3pm – 6pm, riders can collect their bibs from the Wodonga Racecourse precinct. Bibs can also be collected on the Saturday morning, at least half an hour before your ride.
What to Bring
As our event takes place in the height of summer, we recommend you bring loads of sunscreen, a hat or cap, and a large water bottle (there will be filtered water on site to refill your bottle).
Remember to bring your bib if you collected it on Friday afternoon, and feel free to bring along some cash to support our CHILL Zone vendors and buy some Lake Hume Cycle Challenge merchandise on the day.
